Mission Statement

Or something like that, at least.

Right. You're probably wondering just what this is about. And... well, I don't really have much of an answer for you beyond what's in the sidebar there. This is me writing about whatever comes to mind, really. Mostly it'll be about my interests, which are numerous. I am a self-professed nerd, and the things I think about tend to reflect that. Expect lots of talk of video games, and occasionally about other nerdy subjects like comics or movies or anime, along with more highbrow stuff like literature, both modern and classic. There'll be other things talked about here, too; basically whatever's on my mind. That said, I won't talk about every little thing that pops into my head. I'll also make an effort to avoid subjects likely to incite flame wars. I'm no troll; I'd rather avoid dealing with a bunch of people endlessly bickering in the comments section of my blog. It's tedious and annoying and I don't wanna have to deal with that shit.

So that's it. Not much of a first post, I know, but enh this is just an introduction of sorts. I'll try and post at least one thing a week, ideally more than that. At most often I'll update on a daily basis, but don't expect that unless you want all the posts to be REALLY SHORT, which I don't think anyone wants. It'd be easier for me, though. Anyhoo, tune in next time for whatever the hell's on my mind when next I post.
